A Loadstar heavy tag trailer (20-40 ton capacity) is a flatbed deckover trailer connected to a tow vehicle using a tow eye. We put several bolt holes in the frame of the trailer so that the tow eye height can be adjusted to the proper height to align with the towing vehicle’s hook or ball hitch, making it versatile and compatible with different trucks. Our tags have a beavertail with air ramps that can be finished with hardwood, ideal for paving equipment or finished like a steel ladder known as excavator ramps. Tie down straps and d-rings are integrated along each side of the trailer to secure loads. They will usually have 2 or 3 fixed axles or 2 fixed with one steerable lift axle which all have air ride suspension. Tool boxes can be added under the sides and the front has a mesh bottomed storage area that can have a lid if desired. A head rack, that looks like a 4 ft metal plate wall, can be added at the front of the deck to organize and secure various tools.
